WASHINGTON D.C. — On Wednesday, March 5, at 10:15 AM ET, Higher Education and Workforce Development Subcommittee Chair Burgess Owens (R-UT) will hold a hearing titled “Strengthening WIOA: Improving Outcomes for America’s Workforce.”
“As President Trump drives our country’s economic comeback, the Higher Education and Workforce Development Subcommittee will do the same—confronting a labor market struggling to fill millions of jobs and a skills gap that is holding too many Americans back,” said Rep. Owens. “Our first hearing in the 119th Congress will focus on fixing a broken system and ensuring Americans have the skills to thrive in a competitive economy. It is time to equip workers with the tools to succeed and help businesses find the talent they need to grow.”
