REPORT: The Biden-Harris assault on the rule of law

Over the past four years, President Biden and VP Harris have allowed the crisis at our border to reach unprecedented levels. A new report released by the House Homeland Security Committee puts it very simply: this is an assault on the rule of law.
Nearly 12 million unvetted migrants – not counting the “gotaways” – have crossed on this administration’s watch, while the Biden-Harris migrant “parole” program has let more than half a million Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans skip the trip across the border and fly directly into the country.
Let me be crystal clear: not just the administration, but the entire Democratic Party owns this crisis. Just last week, I helped pass two bills to defund sanctuary cities and ensure migrants who assault vulnerable people are deported. In both cases, Democrats in the House voted against in overwhelming numbers.
The Senate is no different. Again and again, House Republicans have sent conservative border legislation over to Leader Schumer—just for Senate Democrats to refuse to hold a vote.
House Republicans will not stop pushing our colleagues in Congress, President Biden, and VP Harris to do the right thing by the American people and pass the border security legislation we need to end this crisis.
We must stand strong and demand accountability. The future of our country depends on it.
