WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM ET, Rep. Burgess Owens (UT-04) will join the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, chaired by Rep. Sam Graves (MO-06), for an oversight hearing with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. 

The White House is used to House Democrats running cover and sweeping Congressional oversight under the rug,said Rep. Owens. “Unfortunately for President Biden, House Republicans have a commitment to accountability and this hearing is yet another opportunity to finally get the answers the American people deserve. We welcome Secretary Buttigieg to answer for his use of private jets on taxpayer dime, the lack of a confirmed Administrator at the FAA, supply chain breakdowns, Green New Deal energy policies, and electric vehicle mandates.”
