WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Burgess Owens (UT-04) issued the following statement to mark President Biden first year in office:

“Last night, President Biden insisted he has “outperformed” expectations, but after 365 days in the White House, crime is on the rise, COVID is spiking, prices are soaring, shelves are empty, and borders are open,” said Rep. Owens. “From day one, this administration, with the support of Congressional Democrats, has championed unconstitutional mandates on private citizens, weak foreign policy, a federal takeover of elections, out-of-control spending, and cradle-to-grave dependency programs. To truly restore the soul of our nation, the President must stop governing from the far left and start representing Utahns in my district and Americans across the country.”
