Owens Honors Sgt. Bill Hooser

WASHINGTON Congressman Burgess Owens (UT-04) will lead the Utah delegation and the entire House of Representatives in a moment of silence honoring Sgt. Bill Hooser of Santaquin, who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2024.

“With heavy hearts, Utah mourns the loss of Sergeant Bill Hooser, a true American hero, whose courage and commitment in serving Santaquin were tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence,” said Rep. Owens. “Tonight, the Utah delegation will honor his bravery, service, and selflessness, ensuring his sacrifice, and that of our state’s law enforcement heroes, are never forgotten. May God comfort the Hooser family in their time of grief and watch over all those who have answered the call to serve.”
