Owens Helps Introduce Resolution Condemning Intimidation Tactics of Pro-Abortion Activists

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Burgess Owens (UT-04) joined over 100 Republican Members of Congress to introduce a congressional resolution condemning the nationwide wave of violence, property damage, threats, trespassing, and intimidation against pro-life organizations in 2022 by pro-abortion activists in the wake of the Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade. The resolution is scheduled for a vote in the House on Wednesday, January 11th.

“The violence, harassment, and intimidation being directed toward pro-life groups, community pregnancy centers, and churches is appalling and has absolutely no place in our country,” said Rep. Owens. “I joined over 100 House Republicans on today’s House Resolution to protect Americans’ sincerely held religious beliefs and demand accountability under the law for these reprehensible crimes.”
