Owens Co-Sponsors House Resolution Recognizing National Police Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Burgess Owens (UT-04) co-sponsored a House Resolution designating May 14 to May 20, 2023, as National Police Week and declaring Congress’ unwavering support for law enforcement officers across the United States.

“Our nation’s law enforcement heroes run toward danger and make incredible sacrifices to keep us safe,” said Rep. Owens. “The Left’s anti-cop rhetoric and defunding police policies have real consequences, like skyrocketing crime and plummeting officer morale, and Americans are paying the price. I’m proud to support this resolution to recognize the immense contributions of our brave men and women in blue and their heroic actions to protect and serve.”
