Owens Celebrates National School Choice Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Burgess Owens (UT-04) co-sponsored a House resolution recognizing January 22 – January 28 as National School Choice Week.

“Every child deserves a shot at the American Dream – regardless of zip code,” said Rep. Owens. “During National School Choice Week, we celebrate the life-changing gift of education freedom and continue our work to expand high-quality opportunities that help every student reach their full potential. House Republicans made a commitment to America that’s built on freedom. Through expanded access to education freedom, we fulfill that promise and deliver for American families by funding students over systems and ensuring parents have a seat at the table.”
