MEDIA ADVISORY: Congressman Burgess Owens to Hold Press Conference on Compromise Proposal to DCA Act

WHAT:

On Tuesday, July 18, Congressman Burgess Owens (R-UT) will hold a press conference to discuss a compromise solution to the DCA Act.

The Owens Amendment, like the DCA Act, includes the addition of both within- and beyond-perimeter flights to and from DCA and does not include any language on cutting or replacing service on any routes currently serviced at DCA. By adding both within- and beyond-perimeter flights, Congress would increase supply and competition, lower ticket prices and save consumers hard-earned dollars.

WHO: Rep. Burgess Owens and Supporters of the DCA Act

WHEN: Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:15 AM ET

WHERE: House TV Gallery, Studio B

RSVP: Please email Emma Hall to RSVP.
