He emphasized the importance of integrity in sports and raised concerns about China’s disregard for anti-doping regulations:

The use of performance-enhancing drugs must be unequivocally condemned, as it undermines the integrity of competition and discredits the hard work of honest athletes. The allegations of China’s blatant disregard for anti-doping regulations are deeply troubling and highlight the need for rigorous adherence to fair play principles.
