“As a former professional athlete and a proud representative of Utah, I am thrilled that Salt Lake City has been chosen to host the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. I eagerly anticipate welcoming athletes and spectators from around the world to experience the best of what Utah has to offer.

“While we celebrate this exciting news, it is also crucial to address the importance of integrity in sports. The use of performance-enhancing drugs must be unequivocally condemned, as it undermines the integrity of competition and discredits the hard work of honest athletes. The allegations of China’s blatant disregard for anti-doping regulations are deeply troubling and highlight the need for rigorous adherence to fair play principles.
