Owens To Press Biden’s HHS Secretary

WASHINGTON On Tuesday, May 15th, at 10:15 a.m. ET, Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee Chair Burgess Owens (UT-04) will participate in an Education and the Workforce hearing titled “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Department of Health and Human Services,” featuring testimony from Secretary Xavier Becerra.

“From pushing irreversible sex change operations on children to escalating Biden’s border crisis and allowing unaccompanied minors to fall into human trafficking operations, Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services has failed to provide for the health and well-being of Americans in my district and across the country,” said Rep. Owens. “Our committee will hold President Biden and Secretary Becerra accountable for the deep-rooted culture of lawlessness, abuse, and neglect they have fostered at HHS.”
